2012 US Foods National Safety Championship
US Foods drivers and equipment operators will compete at the 2012 US Foods National Safety Championship in San Diego, August 23 – 26.
Competitors will demonstrate their knowledge of safety and operating procedures in a written examination on Day One. The second day, each competitor will be challenged to identify equipment defects and safety hazards that are purposely planted on their vehicles to test their knowledge of vehicle readiness. They will then demonstrate driving and equipment operating skills on various simulated driving courses. Winners will receive plaques and cash prizes.
